John Rouse has done a superb job managing our building. Everything was in a state of total chaos before he showed up. He helped us put our finances in order. He has an extensive and deep knowledge of standard operating and budget practices for a building. When we need something fixed, he does research, gives us several quotes, tells us which repair person he thinks is most competent. He’s also handy with tools and can fix many things himself. He’s absolutely reliable–does everything he says he’s going to do and more. I’m amazed by how much work he’s doing, and how efficiently he is doing it. He’s also a genuinely nice, thoughtful guy–easy to talk to, very responsive and friendly. He’s even served as a very effective mediator in disputes between different owners (which can get a bit tricky, as you probably know). Hire him and you won’t be sorry! I would like to provide a recommendation for John. He’s been working with our 3unit condo association for several months and we are thrilled with his services. We spent 2 years self-managing because we couldn’t find a property manager with fees reasonable for an association of our size, and John has met our needs perfectly.
